The Location

Linhouse is just south of Livingston town centre.

What's there

An easy, disabled walk through woods of about 3 miles over made up red gravel paths.

How to get there

For Satnav, the nearest postcode is EH54 9AP, Google map reference 55.868546, -3.497462. This is for the car park by Murieston Road.
Take junction 3 from the M8 and head south towards Livingston on the A899. Go down a hill then up the other side, then turn right at the roundabout, on the A71. Take the first left off this road, then left again at the 'T' junction. Follow this road for about 1/2 a mile and you will see a left hand turn signposted Murieston with a height restriction sign. Turn left here and follow this road for about 200 yards. At the point where the road turns sharp right, you will see the car park on the left hand side.

The Walk

This is a circular walk and is ideal if you are dropping the family off to shop at the designer centre and want to escape the rigours of shopping with the dog for an hour or so. You can see a map of the route here.
The walk is very easy to describe. Head out from the car park and turn either left or right, and follow the walk round in a circle until you get back to your starting point.
